UK Shipping

We will aim to ship your order within 3 working days, provided items are in stock. Please note this is for reference/guidance and during Sewing Society Kit launch weeks, promotions and public holidays, this may vary. Please note during the Christmas period (20th December to 1st January 2025) FedEx Priority shipping option is not available

For our UK mainland shipping we have two options

If the value of your order is under £80 you can choose between the following options at the checkout

  • Royal Mail Royal Mail Tracked 48 - this is priced as a flat rate of £3.95. This service typically takes 2-3 business days from dispatch but is not guaranteed and delivery times can vary considerably across the country.
  • Once your order has been dispatched you will receive email updates directly from Royal Mail regarding the status of the parcel and when it will be delivered. You can also opt to change the delivery day if it's due to arrive on a day thats not convenient for you.
  • Royal mail don't deem a parcel lost until 10 working days following it being dispatched and as it is not an insured service we are unable to make a claim or get any compensation as a small business for lost parcels.
  • In the event that a customer's parcel does not make its way to them, we have communication with the customer and Royal Mail, and deal with each instance on a case by case basis. In some instances we can replace the whole order, in others the customer may wish to have a credit note to the value of their order, or a refund.
  • Fedex Priority - this is priced at a fixed rate of £8.50. This is a fully tracked service and you will receive updates via email when your order has been collected from us, when it is expected to be delivered, if there are any delays with delivery and also when it has actually been delivered. - currently unavailable
  • The estimated time for delivery is the next working day, from the date of dispatch. Fedex do not collect or ship at the weekend so orders placed on Fridays will be shipped Monday. Please note, we cannot guarantee that your order will be dispatched and shipped on the same day that the order is placed. If you would like to receive your order as soon as possible, please email us [email protected] or call us 0121 449 8419 and we will try to accommodate your request.

If the value of your order is £80 or over you can choose between the following options at the checkout

  • Fedex Priority - you can upgrade to this service for £5.50. This is a fully tracked service and you will receive updates via email when your order has been collected from us, when it is expected to be delivered, if there are any delays with delivery and also when it has actually been delivered.
  • The estimated time for delivery is the working next day, from the date of dispatch. Fedex do not collect or ship at the weekend so orders placed on Fridays will be shipped Monday. For delivery to the UK islands and remote locations, for orders of any value.

Collect in Store

You can collect your purchased order free of charge from our shop in Moseley, Birmingham. Please note that we have limited space and capacity to hold customer orders, so we request that you collect your order within 7 calendar days. Unfortunately, we cannot hold orders for longer than this period. If your order is not collected within 7 days, a shipping charge will be applied, and the order will be posted to you.

Packaging

All orders will be shipped in brown paper recyclable envelope according to their size. Fragile items will be protected with bubble wrap. This is packaging that we are re-using from stock and items that have been sent to us.
