Take a look around our fresh new window display

With cool blues and soft pinks - take a virtual tour of our shop window display!

It's been so lovely to welcome shoppers back into the shop again, but I know lots of our customers are a bit far away to visit in person. So I wanted to show you around our latest window display to give you a feel for what the shop looks like at the moment.

All of our fabric is in the shop, so when you order online it gets picked and cut here on the shop floor. I think it's always nice to imagine where the things we buy on the internet come from!

Take a virtual look around in my latest youtube video and read on for links to the patterns and fabrics we used for the garments featured!

We've gone for a light blue and pink theme, added in our oversized haberdashery props and made large scale versions of sewing patterns too so that they really stand out.

Jo, who designs all of our lovely displays, always adds in such lovely touches as well like this cute scissor bunting.

Tilly and the Buttons Billie Sweatshirt

Our first garment is the classic jumper pattern from Tilly and the Buttons. This was one of the samples from our g&g Sewing Society kits earlier in the year so we don't have this exact colour of organic cotton, fleece back sweat-shirting anymore but we do have lots of other lovely colours with the same print.

This version is the 3/4 length sleeve with the same fabric for the neck and hem bands.

We've paired it with the low rise version of the Closet Core Ginger jeans in our stretch denim.

Closet Core Mile End Sweater

I love this version of the Closet Core Mile End Sweater. It has so many different features, so a more interesting make than classic sweater patterns. The detail at the front hem band adds a nice touch, the sleeve has two pieces and is shaped with some darts while the back bodice has a yoke section.

We used our marl sweatshirting fabric in the stone washed blue colourway. We do have a few other lovely colours of the same fabric too.

It's also paired with the Closet Core ginger jeans, high-waisted version, in stretch denim.

Megan Neilsen Jarrah Jumper

The Jarrah jumper is possibly one of my favourite jumpers! It comes with a few different versions, but with this sample we have gone for the simple classic style with baby pink cosy colours. It's drop shoulder and more boxy fit give a more relaxed look than the Billie that has a straighter more fitted cut.

We've paired this the the Closet Core Morgan jeans that have a boyfriend fit and are made in non-stretch denim.
