As the seasons feel officially turned here in Birmingham, it's great timing for the installation of our lovely new window display.

We are lucky to have such a big bay window here in the shop that lets lots of light in and it's a great space to feature gorgeous garments to inspire your next project.

Jo has done another wonderful job and put together so many little details to make the window extra special!

Closet Core Elodie Dress

Romantic and flowy with multiple skirt and sleeve options, it’s equally appropriate at a park picnic or a special wedding.

Elodie features a softly flowing bodice, with release pleats under the bust and a dolman style sleeve. Choose between a short sleeve or a longer, more formal option that ends at the elbow. The skirt is swishy and voluminous and comes in three lengths, above the knee, midi or maxi, with optional patch pockets.

We used the Fabric Godmother Mimosa viscose fabric for this gorgeous version!

Nina Lee Park Lane Dress

This chic flowing midi dress can have either delicate waistline gathers or an elegant darted bodice - both options are finished with a keyhole opening and button with rouleau loop.

We opted for the high neck collar option with the shoulder ruffle for our version using the Fabric Godmother Multi Meadow Viscose fabric. You could make also make simpler version with a curved neckline and no ruffle.

Tilly and the Buttons Lotta Dress

The Lotta dress is the easiest one make out of the three patterns we have featured, but still just as gorgeous in this Fabric Godmother Bisou floral viscose fabric.

With no fiddly bits, it's a great project for beginners with its blousy bodice and flared skirt that's cinched in at the waistband.

We opted for midi length with the bracelet length drop shoulder sleeves and nice deep patch pockets. It's such a versatile pattern though, you can make short sleeves, a shorter length and even choose between woven or jersey fabrics!
