The jumpsuit I wear in this video is the Closet Core Sallie Jumpsuit made in a Tencel Jersey. We featured this pattern in a kit back in 2020 and my tip tips video for making this project can be found in this link.
Join us on Wednesday 21st January, for a fun sewing related evening out at g&g as Ralph, the expert from Lutterloh International, visits for a one hour demonstration that will expand your dressmaking skills. Find out more here.
We have our sample sale this weekend (26th & 27th January) and we hope to see lots of you there! There will hopefully be an online sample sale following the in store event so keep an eye out for that!

Something to watch:
Inside the factory with Greg Wallace - learn how denim cloth is made and then transformed into one of the world's most popular items of clothing - jeans.
I love both of these jumper patterns and I wear them both often. If you watch the video back on YouTube at 37 minutes you can see my made up samples as I compare the patterns.
The Billie sweater has a few variations and I would say that it is generally more fitted. It has a set in sleeve so the seam sits on the point of the shoulder and the neck line is higher and tighter, to be more fitted.
The Jarrah has a wider and more boxy fit, with a wider neckline and a drop shoulder sleeve, so the seam sits off the shoulder and slightly down the arm. A slightly more relaxed look but with enough freedom to adapt to your style.
Linked below are my top tips videos available to purchase for both of these makes. They provide you with extra guidance and tips if you are planning on making either of these.
Skip to 25 minutes for the super helpful dress chat! We had some great suggestions for making your own dresses for special occasions! To browse the range of light and summery fabrics that we have had arrive in store this week, to match many of these beautiful patterns click here.
