Lorna's Christmas Outfit

For Christmas, I love outfits that can be dressed up or down, and this year I want something comfy yet stylish. I’ll be using black stretch velour fabric to make the Friday Pattern Company Adrienne Blouse and Tilly and The Buttons Safiya trousers from the Make it Simple book.

This two-piece combination will give me the perfect balance of elegance and comfort for the festive season!

Belle's Liberty Christmas Day Look

I’m a huge fan of Liberty fabrics, and I’ve got quite the stash that has been waiting for the perfect pattern. This year, I’m planning to sew a Friday Pattern Company Patina Blouse for Christmas Day. As I’m hosting, the lightweight nature of Liberty will keep me cool and comfortable while still feeling extra special. Plus, I can pair it with comfy trousers for a relaxed yet festive look.

Vivvy’s Special Jacket for Christmas

Since my most recent pattern review was the Merchant and Mills Sanda jacket, I’m going to make another one in a lovely wool with a super special Liberty Fabric lining. After Christmas dinner, my family and I usually go for a long walk, and this year, I want to wear something extra special.

The Sanda jacket will keep me warm while adding a touch of luxury to our post-feast tradition.

For Christmas, I’m all about comfort with a touch of elegance. I’ll be sewing the Mave Skirt in an embroidered mesh, adding a black viscose lining for a bit of extra coverage. I’ll pair it with a simple black t-shirt for a chic but easy look that’s perfect for Christmas dinner and beyond.

I’ll be spending plenty of time at home, so I’m sewing up some cosy Black Block Floral Viscose Jacquard Fran PJs from Closet Core!

I’m all about lounge wear on Christmas Day! After all, there’s plenty of eating to be done, but I still want to look festive.

This year, I’m wrapping myself up in sparkle with the new Tilly and The Buttons Drew sweater and True Bias Hudson pants in Teal Sparkle Fleeceback Sweatshirting.

It’s the perfect combo of comfort and festive cheer!

For Christmas, I’m making the Modern Sewing Co. Jesse Jumpsuit in the Fabric Godmother Tabitha stretch denim. It’s stylish, comfy, and perfect for both the holiday celebrations and the post-dinner relaxation. I love that it’s relaxed yet still feels extra special!

Jo's Festive Pub Party Look

I’ve got a Christmas party to attend, as it’s in a pub I want something that’s festive but not too dressy. I’m making the V-Neck Cuff Top from The Assembly Line in red pinstripe linen.

The dramatic sleeves give it a festive edge, and paired with some wide-leg trousers, it’s the perfect mix of fun and comfort for a laid-back holiday gathering.

I’ll be wearing a lovely cherry crinkle crepe viscose blouse this Christmas. It’s perfect for Christmas dinner with the in-laws, but by the evening at my mum’s, it’ll be floaty, comfy, and easy to pair with my reindeer slippers for ultimate Christmas comfort.
