The stylish, flattering and comfortable Sylvia robe adds a touch of effortless charm to any outfit. It's the perfect layering piece, so whether you are relaxing in the sun and need a cover up, or pairing it with some jeans and a pretty top for a more formal date, it will take an everyday look from blah to bewitching!
It's loose style has a very simple construction, making it perfect for anyone trying lighter weight fabrics for the first time. Choose between a short or longer length depending on your preference. You can even customise it to have a belt for a light weight, summery dressing gown.
We have chosen three beautiful light weight woven fabrics for this kit: a sumptuously smooth Tencel Twill in a Dusty Olive shade, a vibrant Midnight Meadow print with a black background featuring a colourful print on a textured viscose crepe fabric and a bright Festival Bloom print with a pink background with deep shades of maroon flora on a smooth viscose lawn fabric.
This pattern has a size range of UK 0-30. Within that are two sub ranges of UK 6-20 (Dressmakers B-cup) and UK 18-30 (Dressmakers D-cup).
You will receive all the sizes and cup options in PDF format and you can select what range you would like printed out and sent with your kit.

She shares her hints and tips for getting a lovely finish including tips for cutting out and working with slippery viscose fabric, how to sew French seams, how to make and insert a hanging tab, how to invisibly hand stitch the collar, how to make a belt for your robe and how to sew dainty thread chains to hold the belt in place.
The video has over 25 minutes of footage, sectioned out with time stamps/chapters for easy reference and navigation.
The link to the video will be contained in your order confirmation email along with the pdf files, please please file this safely for future reference.
This pattern is aimed for 'Confident Beginners'. The main challenge is learning how to work with more slippery fabric.
