Choose from a sweeping U-shape or delicate pleated sweetheart neckline to make the prettiest wardrobe essential you always knew you needed. Opt for the long sleeve version for the ideal base layer, or shorten it to an above elbow length or short sleeve for a more transitional look into Spring.
The super soft cotton jersey fabric we've included in the kit is so comfortable and is available in 3 lovely colour options: Classic Navy, Peacock Teal or Sky Blue.
This kit is available in sizes UK 6-24, bust measurement 31" to 49".

Alongside the purchase of this kit you will receive access to Laurens exclusive YouTube video to be used alongside the pattern instructions.
The 23 minute video covers key construction steps including how to work with fine, light weight jersey fabric, how to cut out the pattern pieces ensuring that the stripes are perfectly horizontal, how to deal with rolling fabric edges, how to insert the neckband neatly and how to sew in the pleat detail.

Ostara is a great pattern for confident beginners. The U-neckline eases you into sewing with knits, and the sweetheart neckline lets you extend the pattern base with a few extra steps.
To complete this project you'll need a basic sewing tools, find out what Lauren recommends in this article. You'll need a regular sewing machine. An Overlocker is useful but not essential.
