Geneva Blouse Kit

A chic yet simple blouse with some special twists, Marchs kit includes everything you need to make the Liesl + Co Geneva Blouse.

This classic blouse has an elegant, deep-but-not-revealing V-neck with a curved shirt tail hem and centre back pleat. Choose between sleeve options: a ¾ length lantern sleeve, a gentle ¾ length bell sleeve or add some on trend gathers with an elasticated cuff instead!

The cup sizes included in the kit will help you get a great fit over the bust too!

Navy Embroidered Dash on Ecru - This fabric has a lovely natural texture and tone with a slightly slubbed background. The cotton navy linear embroidery stripes run at 90 degree to the selvedge and allow you to play with the direction of the stripe during construction. The viscose content gives a nice drape making the overall finished garment less structured that a typical cotton shirting.

Navy Floral Bouquet
- This silky, drapy 100% viscose base cloth is a lovely shade of navy blue. Decorated with detailed embroidered flowers in sage and off white with accents of deep ochre colour for the centres and stalks.

White Linear Broderie Anglaise
- This delicate and summery white cotton fabric has linear dobby style texture to it. With the stripes running parallel to the selvedge they will run vertically on your garment for an elongating look. This fabric is semi opaque so can be worn with a cami for more coverage.

This kit comes in size range US 0-20 with 3 dressmaker cup size options: A/B, C and D.

Bust range is 32.5” - 46”, waist 25” -38.5” and hips 35” - 48.5”.

This difficulty rating for this pattern is 2/4, so that can loosely translated to confident beginners to more intermediate.

If you are new to shirt/blouse making or doing buttonholes for the first time its a good pattern to choose as there is no collar to deal with.

The neckline is finished with bias binding, which can be a bit fiddly but by following the tips in the video this is easily tackled for a lovely slick finish.

To complete this project successfully you'll need a regular sewing machine along with Lauren's essential recommended sewing tools.

An Overlocker is useful for finishing off the seam allowances, but is not essential, the garment can easily be made completely on a regular sewing.

It is useful of you have a one-step buttonhole setting on your sewing machine but this is not essential.

If you would like a printed copy of the instructions sent out with your kit, in addition to the PDF copy that you will receive, please see the related products below and add it to your cart as a separate product.

Your kit will be wrapped in tissue and beautifully presented in recyclable packaging.
