These simple to sew classic, everyday leggings have unique features to make them extra special! With no outer leg seam you end up with a lovely smooth leg. The crotch gusset gives you improved range of motion and reduced bulky seams and the double layer waistband with enclosed and stabilised elastic will support your tummy and stop the leggings from falling down - win, win!!
Choose between a classic look or ultra-high waist with extra long legs for the most comfortable pair of leggings that can be worn anywhere and make a great wardrobe staple.
It's the amazing low pill modal jersey fabric that makes these leggings even more superior - read more about it in the expandable section below!
Wear them under your favourite dresses or tunic tops or slouch around at home in comfort with a cosy jumper. Fancy a bit of gentle yoga stretching - don't worry - these leggings can easily handle it!
This amazing fabric has been knitted and dyed here in the UK for g&g and specially selected for its qualities of amazing smoothness, thickness and low pill qualities!
Made from 92% modal and 8% elastane it's super stretchy for extra comfort. It's weight is 280gsm giving great coverage over your knees and derrière. The way the fibre has been twisted makes it low pill leaving your leggings looking smooth and slick for many washes and wears to come!
This kit contains the midnight navy colourway only. This deep shade of navy is a lovely dark shade ensure it will co-ordinate with lots of other colour tones well. Pictured are the navy and black together to give some content to the colour and shade.
The full size range of this pattern is US0/2 up to US 32/34. This is a waist measurement range of 24" - 52" and hip measurement range of 33"- 62".
All options of the kit will have the same pattern print out and files containing all sizes but if you are making a size 24 or above, select the 'up to sizes 34' option to ensure you have enough fabric.

- A physical print out of the instruction booklet will NOT be included. You can view the instruction booklet on your device at home, print it out at home, or add the 'printed pattern instructions' product (see link below) to your order and we will print it for you.
Alongside the purchase of this kit you will receive access to a Lauren's exclusive YouTube video to be used alongside the pattern instructions.
She shares her hints and tips for getting a lovely finish including how to cut out jersey fabric straight, how to sew jersey on a regular sewing machine, how to get a neat clean finish on the waistband of your leggings and much more!
The video has over 25 minutes of footage, sectioned out with time stamps/chapters for easy reference and navigation.The link to the video will be contained in your order confirmation email along with the pdf files, please please file this safely for future reference.
This pattern is aimed at an advanced beginner.
It is simple to construct and can easily be completed on a regular sewing machine using a stretch and zig zag stitch. If you are new to stretchy jersey fabrics and have some confidence in sewing you'll be fine with this project!
To complete this project successfully you'll need a regular sewing machine along with Lauren's essential recommended sewing tools.
An Overlocker is useful for finishing off the seam allowances, but is not essential, the garment can easily be made completely on a regular sewing machine using a stretch stitch.
