Bobbi Skirt and Pinafore Kit

We have three different fabric options for this gorgeous garment!

Opt for a classic denim that will go with everything! It has a slight stretch for extra comfort and is paired with a simple, yet colourful patterned lining fabric that can be used on the bib section and elements of the pockets for a secret peep of fun!

Or go for a lofty, fluffy corduroy in either cherry red or petrol teal. Both of these super soft cord fabrics have a nice amount of stretch that can allow you to go for a slightly more fitted look over the hips while maintaining comfort and easy of movement.

These options have been paired with a floral lining, the Cherry red colour way having two options due to stock availability at the time of kit building.

This kit includes sizes UK 6-24. Waist range 24" - 42", hip range 33" to 51".

Due to the nature of the fabric included in the kit you may want to consider sizing down - there is further guidance on this within the top tips video.

• 0.4m of Art Gallery patterned cotton fabric for the lining

• 2 packs of Prym jeans buttons - in silver (for the denim fabric) or bronze (for corduroy fabric)

• A physical print out of the instruction booklet will NOT be included. You can view the instruction booklet on your device at home, print it out at home, or add the 'printed pattern instructions' product (see link below) to your order and we will print it for you.

Alongside the purchase of this kit you will receive access to a series of 2 of Laurens exclusive YouTube videos to be used alongside the pattern instructions. She shares her hints and tips for getting a lovely finish including working with a fabric that has a nap, how to get a crisp finish for sections that are lined, how to mark buttonholes, how to attach buttons using vario pliers and much, much more!

The videos have over 27 minutes of footage, sectioned out with time stamps/chapters for easy reference and navigation.

To complete this project successfully you'll need a regular sewing machine along with Lauren's essential recommended sewing tools.

The lofty cord fabric does tend to shed fluff easily and an overlocker can really really help to minimise this.

For attaching the buttons you will need a hammer, to use with the tool clip that comes with the buttons. Or for super easy application, use the Prym Vario pliers - linked below!

You will need a hammer and a hard flat surface for hammering in and securing the tubular rivets to secure the strap in place.

Your kit will be wrapped in tissue and beautifully presented in recyclable packaging.
