Lauren's Thora Top in Afterlight Viscose Twill Sateen
For this Thora Top, I used our exclusive Afterlight Viscose Twill Sateen and added the Pleated Cuff Sleeve from the Thora Sleeve Expansion Pack. The fuller sleeve has beautiful gathers through the sleeve head and wrist, finished with a deep pleated cuff, covered buttons and delicate thread loops. Paired with the fluid Afterlight fabric, it turns the Thora into something that feels really special.

Lauren's Notes:
• Fabric choice: Afterlight has a beautifully fluid, swishy drape that's perfect for this fuller sleeve. I especially love how the subtle sateen finish catches the light and brings out all those glowing moons, stars and celestial details.
• Styling tip: This is definitely a Thora I'd dress up! I love it with simple smart trousers or a skirt, keeping everything else pared back and letting those statement sleeves and Afterlight print do all the talking.
• Sleeve choice: The Pleated Cuff Sleeve is the statement option in the expansion pack, with gathers at the shoulder and wrist and that gorgeous deep cuff with five pleats, covered buttons and thread loops. There's a little more sewing involved, but the finished detail is so worth it.
• Difficulty level: A really satisfying project if you're ready to spend a little more time on the details. The gathers, pleated cuffs, covered buttons and thread loops give you plenty to get stuck into and create a really special finish.
The fabric quantity included is suitable for making the Thora Top with long sleeves in sizes 4-20, based on the pattern's recommended fabric requirements.
