What Our Members Say

As soon as I saw those sleeves, the lace inserts and that gorgeous ochre-coloured fabric I knew the Nepheline blouse kit was for me ! I love it and have also made one in a lightweight Indian-block fabric. And there will be more.

Isla finished! Ridiculously pleased with this. Definitely the most challenging project I’ve ever attempted. So many miles of topstitching Would I make it again? Absolutely. I’m already thinking of a short version without the cape.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to try something new in a bolder colour than I’d usually go with without having to dive off for notions too - thanks Team G&G!

Finally made it a year after buying it and I don’t know why I put it off for so long, Lauren’s video was invaluable as always in the construction. This will be a work wardrobe staple and I will definitely make again

First make of 2025 off the machine. Absolutely love the piping on this and was so easy to do! New swimming bag for my daughter but I’m tempted to make another to keep! Fab kit and the video is really helpful with the tips and hints.

It’s been a while since I’ve worked on a more challenging make, and the videos that come with the kit were a lifesaver. I really couldn’t have gotten through it without Lauren’s tips!"

Congratulations, Siobhan!

You’re our April Maker of the Month!

Our Maker of the Month, Siobhan, has been busy creating two stunning dresses with our new Vintage Bauhaus fabric and we’re absolutely in love with them!

She used the gorgeous Teal Jigsaw fabric for the Magnolia dress and the Navy Segments for the Myosotis (which was a Sewing Society kit, by the way!).

Siobhan’s made two dresses that are not only beautiful to look at but also a joy to sew, and we’re so glad she’s enjoyed working with the fabric. Here’s to lots of occasions to wear these beauties!
