Wild Rowan Navy is an exclusive G&G viscose jacquard, featuring bright red rowan berries and fresh green foliage layered over a rich navy and blue background. Fine hand-drawn lines, botanical shapes and textural marks run throughout the design, while a subtle pattern woven into the fabric itself adds another layer of texture and interest beneath the print. Look closely at the berries and you'll also spot the tiny five-pointed stars that became an important detail in the development of the design.

Part of our new Scottish-inspired Autumn/Winter collection, Wild Rowan was developed under the creative direction of G&G founder Lauren Guthrie and takes inspiration from the folklore and symbolism surrounding Scotland's rowan trees.

Printed onto a 100% viscose jacquard, this version of Wild Rowan has a slightly more substantial feel than our viscose twill sateen while still being beautifully fluid and drapey. The subtle woven design catches the light and adds depth to the printed layers, giving the fabric lots of interest when you see it up close.

This lightweight fabric is ideal for blouses, tops and dresses, particularly styles where you can make the most of its movement and drape.
