Renovations - Part Five

This week at the future home of g&g the scaffolding is now finally up! Meaning a bit of a closer inspection of the Mock Tudor cladding and a view of Moseley never seen before!

This view looks down towards Moseley Village.

It was great fun to finally get onto the scaffolding and have a good poke around!

Unfortuantly the paint work is really flacky and the wood underneath isn't in great condition.

The sills are the worst...to be expected really.

This bit of decorative trim has just pretty much disintegrated.

The plaster isn't really in great shape either! So all in all quite a bit of work to do there!

On the inside the ceiling has now been taken up to the apex. I'm so excited about having this massive high ceiling! I think its going to look awesome!

We found this lovely wooden decorative 'thing' up in the loft too. Not sure what it was originally for but planning on cleaning it up and using it for something. I love finding little treasures in places!

More stock is arriving regularly to the online shop.

This week I was super excited with my Japanese Kokka fabric that finally arrived! You can find retro typewriters and clocks in Melody Miller Ruby Star Shining here and the amazingly colourful vibrant Echino here. We also have matching Echino cotton webbing which is just lush, goes perfectly with the rich colours in the fabric and is perfect for hand bag straps!
