Our Summer 2019 window display

With the summer solstice behind us and the weather certainly warmer and muggier and sometimes sunny - we are calling it summer anyway where at g&g and I have our lovely new window display to share with you today!

With ice creams, buckets of yarn, deckchairs, a suitcase and a parasol you can't get more summery than that! Our window displays wouldn't be complete without lots of bunting either!

We've got three lovely outfits dressing our mannequin ladies featuring the patterns and fabric we have in the shop!

This gorgeous teal stripy dress is the new Tilly and the Buttons Romy dress with the back tie option. I love the neckband stripes going in a different direction too. We used the Teal and White Stripy cotton jersey fabric which we also have in pink too!

Pictured below left is the Tilly and the Buttons Nora top (without the neckband) sewn up using our sugared pastels striped modal jersey with the Truebias Lander shorts using some linen. We don't have that particular colourway left in stock, but we do have some other lovely linens.

Pictured below right is a classic Closet Case Patterns combo - the Kalle shirt and the Ginger jeans. The shirt is sewn up in the gorgeous Atelier Brunette sparkle melba cotton lawn and the jeans uses some of our stretch denim.
