As our new window display has been in for a few weeks now I thought it was time to show you around and also add in a little studio tour as well. As you may remember from previous similar blog posts, its Jo who works in the shop who designs and puts in all of our windows and always does such an amazing job!
For those of you who can't make it into the shop, I hope it gives you a little idea of what its like and you can imagine looking around. Check out my latest Youtube video below to see it all.
Here are a few links and details about the garments included in the window and some alternative fabrics to choose too.
The dress in the Grainline Farrow dress made using Atelier Brunette cotton lawn. The fit of this dress is very swishy at the bottom so in a light weight fabric it will waterfall down and have a lot of movement or in a more structure fabric it will hold the fuller shape more.
Jo has made a Farrow in the past using some of our navy sateen fabric which does have more structure and I think it works really well, perhaps just not that summery for this time of year.
We've just had some new viscose twill fabrics arrive and I've linked to a few below, I think that would look beautiful as well!
The other garment is the Grainline Lakeside PJ set, which is so cute. I have to apologise as I called it the Reef in the video. The reef is actually he Megan Neilsen PJ tank and shorts set, which is also really lovely!
This sample was made using another Atelier Brunette Cotton Lawn that is now sold out. My top alternative pick is the gorgeous melba colour of the sparkle cotton lawn. You could also use the viscose twills for this project too.
