Over the last few months of 2014 I was seeing so many lovely things on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook that you talented lot had been making with your lovely purchases from g&g.
There was so much going on over that time that I got a bit behind so here is a catch up from the last 2 months of amazing makes!....
How lovely is Claires bell lampshade she made in the workshop with Zoe? She's used this mustard fabric from Dashwood Studios and trims from Zoe's personal collection that come included in the workshop. There is still one space left for Januarys class and we have just added a new date in March too. Full details in this link.
@mjtole tweeted this lovely Dephine Skirt made using some of our soft navy with little orchids polyester farbic. I bet that hangs beautifully!
Just in time for the party season before Christmas, Elizabeth made these gorgeous sequins numbers. Both top and dress are using the Sew Over Ultimate Shirt dress which has a really easy construction so is perfect when you have to tackle sewing sequins. The gold few off the shelves but we still have some of the amazing purple and blue triangle fabric left.
Kathryn made these cute PJ bottoms for her daughter using the pattern from my book and some Hello Kitty Fabric (find the kittys in this link).
Joanne also made PJ's using the same pattern - these look so cosy! Apparently wearing red does make you feel warmer!
My Mum made my sister and I some PJs for Christmas too. She didn't have enough fabric though, so she patched together what she had to make them as long as she could. The outcome was what we thought looked like football shorts so we had fun jumping about the living room pretending to be football players!
Sarah finished off her chunky wrist warmers she started in the Learn to Knit workhop. There are still places left of the workshop coming up in a few weeks, find the details in this link.
And how comfy does this hoodie look? made by Vicki for her man using our fluffy double knit.
You have been busy stitching up Christmas pressies too. Carol made all of these lovely make up bags. I'd have loved one of them in my stocking!
@jczreid made these great little purses from the project and pattern in my book too.
And Amy made these brilliant placements and napkins with our Christmas fabric and the project idea from my book. There are still lots of bargins in the Christmas Fabric Clearnace section too if you want to get ahead for this year!
Jen made this amazing By Hand Anna Dress using our Atelier Brunette Sparkle Midnight Lawn. Beautiful!
@grosgraingreen made this lovely Simplicity 6666 Dress using Atelier Brunette Facet Viscose Fabric - lush!
@fallfordiy made a beautiful quilt as a gift. I love the colour combos - gorgeous!
I made a quilt for my neice, Holly, for Christmas as well. I think she liked it, but getting a 1 year old to be still for a photo was impossible!
Lots of lovely Coco Dresses were made in the sewing with knits workshop....
.....as well as this surprise one that Sharon made for a Christmas present for her daughter - I think it got the seal of approval. This one is made using the new Art gallery jersey - this stuff is seriously so soft and comfy!
I had a lovely group of girlies in for a baby shower workshop making these super cute mobiles for a set of twins!
And one of the surgical teams from the Childerns hospital tried their hand at a different kind of sewing...... to make theatre hats! So much fun!
Keep them coming everyone, the maker galleries are one of my favourite blog posts to write! You can share on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Pinterest!
