Level 3 - Beginner Dressmaker

Learn to sew an A-line skirt

This 4 week beginners dressmaking course will teach you essential dressmaking skills to take you right from measuring yourself accurately and reading a sewing pattern through to making a lovely skirt, with lots of fun along the way!!

This sewing course is a great progression from our complete beginners 6-week course, or if you have recently made items of clothing using sewing patterns but would like some more guidance and support as you work through a dressmaking project.

With 12 hours of teaching time, spread out over 4 consecutive weeks, there will be lots of opportunity to practice techniques and it's an ideal opportunity to consolidate skills, continue your dressmaking journey and build your confidence in using sewing patterns and working with the sewing machine.

The pattern you will be using is the classic Sew Over It Ava skirt. With a choice of 2 different hem lengths – below the knee and above the knee you can customise the length and shape to your preference!

PLEASE NOTE - If the class is showing as fully booked, please contact us on [email protected] and we can check availability. Sometimes we can experience a glitch in the website where the workshop appears as fully booked when it is not. We are fixing it as soon as possible.
