About this workshop

The Luskyntyre bag has two external pockets which are perfect for quick access items, so you know exactly where your sunglasses are when the sun appears! An optional zip can be added to one of the pockets to help keep important items safe. The pockets sit between the straps, which are stitched directly onto the outer fabric, making them super strong. The base of the bag is also reinforced with specialist sturdy buckram interfacing, giving a defined base.

The Luskentyre bag is full of clever details and is a great showcase for bold fabrics.

Luskentyre, named after the beautiful beach on the Island of Harris in the Outer Hebrides in Scotland, was designed with the beach in mind but has plenty of other uses if you don't have a beach trip planned soon. It's perfect for a weekend getaway, for taking your projects to your sewing class, or simply for carrying your shopping!

IMPORTANT - Please note that you will need to cut out your fabric pieces at home BEFORE attending the workshop.

This means you can focus on the construction of the bag in your workshop. You will need to collect your Luskentyre Bag Pattern print out and dot and cross pattern paper from the store, or arrange to have it posted to you (our flat rate shipping rate is £3.95). Alternatively, you can use the pattern dimensions in the pdf instruction booklet that can be emailed to you and then use your own pattern paper or draw directly onto your fabric at home to cut everything out.

Help and support can be offered by calling a member of the team on 0121 449 8419 or emailing [email protected]
