Page Hoodie Kit

Get set for a cosy Autumn/Winter season, this Sewing Society Kit contains everything you need to make the cute and comfy Chalk and Notch Page Hoodie.

The Page Hoodie is a classic hooded sweatshirt with a choice of two hem finishes and three sleeve styles. Opt for a banded hem using matching ribbed fabric to tie in with the sleeve cuffs, or opt for a drawstring hem that can add shape and give blousiness to the fit of the hoodie.

Customise your garment further and choose your sleeve preference with either a slim sleeve, balloon sleeve or cropped short sleeve.

The garment is designed to have a loose fit through the body, but with two dressmakers cup size options, you can be sure to find a size and fit that works best for you.

The hood and hem drawstring channels can be finished off with simple buttonholes using your sewing machine or you can opt to insert eyelets*.

*These eyelets are optional and can be purchased in addition to your kit by adding the eyelet product linked at the bottom of this listing. Applying the eyelets is demonstrated in the accompanying top tips video and can be made easier by using the Prym Vario Pliers - also linked below.

We have 4 gorgeous hues of snuggly recycled cotton fleeceback sweatshirting fabric to choose from: Teal, Plum, Pink and Denim Blue.

The fabric has a lovely marled effect giving the fabric depth and texture rather that a flat colour.

Paired with the super soft sweatshirting fabric is a matching jersey fabric for the hood as well as a matching single ribbed fabric for the hem band and sleeve cuffs. This trio of co-ordinating fabrics will give your garment a really professional finish.

The composition of each of the three fabrics is 62% Recycled Cotton, 33% polyester and 5% elastane.

This pattern is aimed at advanced beginner sewers.

The raglan sleeve construction makes it very simple and quick to come together and overall it is a nice quick/simple make.

To complete this project successfully you'll need a regular sewing machine along with Lauren's essential recommended sewing tools.

This project can easily be completed on a regular sewing machine using a stretch stitch or zig zag stitch.

An overlocker is optional but as the fabric does not fray it is not essential to finish off the seam allowances anyway.

If you would like a printed copy of the instructions sent out with your kit, in addition to the PDF copy that you will receive, please see the related products below and add it to your cart as a separate product.

Your kit will be wrapped in tissue and beautifully presented in recyclable packaging.
