October New Fabric Arrivals

I'm excited to share another amazing selection of dressmaking fabrics that have arrived into the shop this month!

From designer prints, wools of various weights and thicknesses, more unusual knitted and jersey fabric along with some fun novelty prints there is lots of variety and inspiration for your next project!

Classic and Christmas Liberty Tana Lawns

The new selection of Liberty classic prints have a new and different twist! They have been recoloured in a gorgeous selection of brighter hues.

The new Christmas themed prints are really pretty and offer something more subtly festive with the Betsy print having some twinkling metallic stars printed on them.

New Atelier Brunette Collection

These new prints and designs from Atelier Brunette also have some gorgeous new colours. On various different viscose base cloths they all offer a soft drape perfect for elegant blouses and flowing dresses.

New Fabric Godmother Viscose Prints

These new designs are stunning additions to the Fabric Godmother collection and would be perfect for a dress to a special occasion or wedding over the coming months!

Woven cottons

These lovely textured spots are really unusual and would lovely in a simple garment layered of a camisole or slip dress to really see the opacity of the spots.

On the other end of the garment spectrum...this amazing brushed cotton flannel that is cosy and soft on both sides would be perfect for festive PJ's! Or perhaps a snuggly shirt, or even a lining for a jacket or gilet?

Warm and Woollen Fabric

If you are planning a coat, jacket or blazer project over the coming months we have an amazing selection of new 100% Woollen fabrics for you to choose from.

Pre-Quilted 'Thelma' Fabric

Now back in stock is our range of popular Mind the Maker Thelma pre-quilted fabrics with water repellant properties. To complement the range we now also have the matching fabric as a solid, non-quilted fabric as well as matching open-ended zips in two lengths - a great way to get a super professional look and finish on your project!

Lighter weight wools

This selection of woollen fabrics are all (mostly 100% wool) but have a much different weight and texture to the heavier wools listed above. These ones are lighter weight and best suited to trousers, skirts, jackets and blazers with a more relaxed causal feel as well as dresses. And with such high wool content they will keep you really cosy as well as looking sleek and elegant!

These fabric offer a more unique type of fabric that will give you a gorgeous garment for a true 'wow I made this' feeling!

Classic stripy Jersey Fabric

A stripe is a classic that just doesn't date and these new jerseys and loopback sweat shirtings will give you a wardrobe staple you'll be wearing for years to come!

This selection of cotton and cotton/bamboo mixed fabrics are more like a classic t-shirt weight so best suited for long sleeve tops (perfect for layering, t-shirts, vests and jersey Pj's!
