November New Fabrics round up!

What I'm wearing

In this video I'm wearing my latest make, the Megan Nielsen Jarrah Jumper using the Atelier Brunette Sandy Sand Leony sweatshirting fabric. I LOVE it and have worn it so much already. It's such a quick and satisfying make!

Brand ✨NEW✨ - Cotton Corduroy

We have hunted high and low and finally found the perfect non-stretch corduroy that it the ideal wale count at 11 wales per inch! Perfect for your handmade wardrobe staples such as trousers, dungarees, pinafore dress, skirt, jackets and more!

Floral Needlecord

Or for something a bit brighter, how about these colourful needlecords? They are lighter in weight so would make nice cosy tops, dresses and shirts.

Organic cotton jersey

I LOVE these super soft cotton jerseys that are the ideal t-shirt style weight for a fun layering long sleeved top or turtle neck. The are giving me Orla Kiely vibes for sure!

Fabric Godmother

If you are planning a festive party make, this selection from Fabric Godmother offers lots of lovely options with a little bit of sparkle as well! A few of the fabrics have lurex in them, which catches the light beautifully and makes them feel extra special!

Sparkling party fabrics

Nothing says party makes like sequins and metallics! The gorgeous camo sequin and silver plissé fabric are two amazing deadstock finds that bring all the sparkle. I’ve even added a few extra glittery fabrics to this section to give you even more inspiration for your festive makes—because who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle?

For a super sophisticated party look, I love these simple designs from Atelier Brunette. Paired with a pattern that has delicate details like gathers or pin tucks they would look really special!

Cosy winter staples

If you want to feel super cosy and snuggly and sparkly at the same time these fleeceback sweatshriting fabrics are a great option! Pair them with your favourite jumper or sweater pattern for comfy glamour!
