Maker Gallery July

As you know, we love seeing all the gorgeous things you guys make.....from purses and bags to cushion covers and pretty tops and dresses!

Following on from last months maker gallery post here is another amazing selection of all the lovely things that our customers and students have been making this month. So inspiring!!

This is a gorgeous ipad mini case made by Anne using geometric flower in mustard fabric and polka dot bias binding.

This is Lucindas beautiful Laurel Dress using the summery Valorie Wells wish voile.

We love the contrasting purple trim around the neckline and hem too!

One of my favs this month, this amazing darling ranges dress made with Anna Marie Horners Feild Study Rayon Chalis fabric which suits this style of dress perfectly!

Here is Hayley sporting her gorgeous Hazel dress made in the summer day dress workshop and showing off her lovely secret pocket bag with piping and an invisible zip - made in the secret pocket bag workshop.

Here is another version of the bag from the same workshop, made by Dorothy along with her version of a LillyBlossom bag.

This is a such a cute double snap frame purse made by Claire from Seven Berry Spotty Canvas.

We have some really amazing Hazel dresses come together in the make a day dress workshop too!

In the snap frame purse workshop..it never fails to surprise me..how lovely all the different combinations of fabric and trims that everyone chooses are!

Special well done to my friend Kirsty who came to visit me last weekend from Scotland and got roped into a purse workshop! She'd never even used a sewing machine before, but I let her sneek into the class and did a sterling job!

This last picture features the contraversial doggie dog fabric that was part of the guthrie vs ghani competition last month.

Claire send us this picture on twitter of the amazing bag that she made with it...

Talking of that competition...I just realised that I haven't got around to announcing the results!

In third place was Ayaz with 15 votes,

A close second was Lucy with 16 votes,

And in top place...woo hoo...me! With 47 votes!! I blew him out the water this time! Think he was still riding high after the storming win of the retro bikes in the first round!
