The print celebrates the wildlife of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, from the barn owl of the English countryside to the pine marten of Northern Ireland, with each animal representing the character and beauty of its home nation.
We've paired this fabric with the fabulous Jeanne Pyjamas from Jalie Patterns. Jeanne is a relaxed, comfortable two-piece set featuring a long-sleeve top with cuffs and elasticated bottoms. It is simple to sew, easy to fit, and ideal for both confident beginners and experienced dressmakers. With 38 sizes available (from age 2 right up to a US 36), it's one of our most inclusively sized kits yet.

Each kit includes fabric and notions to make one complete set of pyjamas. This kit includes the Jeanne Pyjamas pattern and print out, along with Lauren's top tips video.
Printed exclusively for Guthrie & Ghani, the Cosy Adventures design is available in deep red, forest green and classic navy colourways. Each print features eleven native British animals, from the barn owl and red deer to the Welsh mountain pony and Irish black honey bee, all staying cosy dressed in adorable winter accessories.
Made from a premium blend of 66% bamboo, 28% organic cotton and 6% spandex, this brushed-back French terry has a smooth, soft front and a fleecy reverse. It's warm, stretchy and super cosy - perfect for pjs and loungewear! The fabric is easy to sew and doesn’t require pattern matching, making for a speedy pre-Christmas make.
Each kit includes coordinating 2 x 2 ribbing, for the pocket facing and cuffs, which gives a really professional finish. It is 95% cotton, 5% elastane and is OEKO Tex certified.

There are three size options for this supplies kit:
Ages 2-13: Chest 21 - 32”, waist 20 - 26.5” and hip 22 - 34.5”
Women's US sizes 2-24: Bust 33 - 51”, waist 27 - 44” and hip 36 - 54”
Women's US sizes 20-36: Bust 47 - 63”, waist 41.5 - 61” and hip 49.75 - 66”
For Lauren's Jeanne pyjamas, the red samples were made to her body measurements, but on the navy and green samples the bottoms only were made two sizes up from her body measurements.

- A0 print out of the Jeanne Pyjamas. In your chosen size range (the children's sizes and women's sizes 2-24 are on the same print out)
- Main fabric: as described above. Ages 2-13 kits contain 1.95m of fabric, sizes US 2-24 kits contain 2.4m and sizes US 20-36 kits contain 4.2m.
- Ribbing fabric: as described above. All kits contain 0.6m of fabric.
- Elastic: 25mm wide black elastic. Ages 2-13 kits contain 0.7m, sizes US 2-24 kits contain 1.2m and sizes US 20-36 kits contain 1.6m.
- Stretchfix: 30cm wide piece of stretchfix. Ages 2-13 kits contain 10cm, sizes US 2-24 kits contain 15cm and sizes US 20-36 kits contain 20cm.
- Tracing Paper: Swedish Tracing Paper. Ages 2-13 kits contain 0.4m, sizes US 2-24 kits contain 0.6m and sizes US 20-36 kits contain 0.8m.

There is enough fabric to make one set of pyjamas in each supplies kit. If you are purchasing the children's kit you may have enough fabric to make two smaller sets, but this is dependent on the sizes you are making.
In this Jeanne pyjamas top tips video, Lauren guides you through every step of sewing with knit fabrics and creating your Cosy Adventures pyjamas, ideal if you’re new to stretch fabrics or want to build your confidence with these fabrics.
You’ll learn how to:
- Prepare your pattern using Patterntrace Swedish Tracing Paper.
- Work confidently with knit fabrics, understand stretch, grainlines, and cutting layouts.
- Cut your fabric accurately and align the grainline to achieve the best drape and recovery.
- Use Stretchfix to stabilise hems and make sewing on stretch fabrics easier.
- Sew stretch fabrics on a regular sewing machine using Maraflex thread for a strong, flexible finish - no overlocker required!
- Insert a ribbed neckband evenly, so your neckline sits flat and comfortable every time.
- Add a professional finish with a back neck facing - a G&G extra to the original pattern.
- Match your seams beautifully, with Lauren’s top tips.
- Sew ribbed cuffs for a snug, polished finish.
- Attach waistband elastic evenly without a channel, for a smooth, clean finish.
By the end of this make, you’ll feel confident sewing with knit fabrics and ready to create beautifully finished handmade pyjamas that look and feel professionally made.

Jalie Patterns don't provide a difficulty level for the Jeanne pattern, but we'd rate it as suitable for an Advanced Beginner.
Techniques include working with knit fabrics, sewing cuffs, inserting elastic and sewing a knit neckband.
To complete this project successfully you'll need a regular sewing machine along with Lauren's essential recommended sewing tools. An overlocker can be used for a lot of the construction, but is not essential.
