Named Clothing Ruut Shirt & Shirt Dress Sewing Pattern PDF

Ruut is a relaxed sewing pattern with two variations: a straight-cut shirt and a shirt dress. They are classic wardrobe staples you will want to sew again and again! Both variations feature large pointed collars and a button-front closure. The shirt has a softly curved hem, breast pockets, and long cuffed sleeves. The dress has short sleeves, side pockets, and deep, buttoned side vents.

Fabric

For either variation, choose a light, non-stretch shirting fabric, such as voile, poplin, or a light linen shirting.

Fusible interfacing - 50cm for shirt, 1.6m for dress

12–18mm buttons - 12 for shirt, 14 for dress
