Thora is a pattern that feels instantly wearable, the sort of top or dress that works just as well popped on with sandals on holiday as it does layered into everyday life at home.
The softly structured shape is relaxed without feeling oversized, with details that give it a polished finish whilst still keeping it easy to wear. A neat collar stand flows into a soft V-shaped placket, finished with a cleverly constructed pleat at the base that adds movement and ease through the front.
The subtle cap sleeve is finished with a bias-bound edge, giving a clean finish and just a little coverage through the shoulder. Or alternatively, you can leave it sleeveless for a more summery feel.
The dress version follows the same gentle A-line shape as the top, sitting at an easy knee-length with double-ended darts at the back for added shaping and fit. An optional waist tie gives you the choice of wearing it loose and relaxed or pulled in for a bit more definition, and of course, there are practical in-seam pockets too.
Thora works beautifully in soft woven fabrics and can take on a completely different feel depending on your fabric choice - from relaxed linen tops you’ll wear on repeat, through to embroidered dresses for summer gatherings and holidays away.

Light to mid-weight woven fabrics with a soft drape work best for Thora. Cotton chambray, lighter weight linen and linen viscose blends are all excellent choices and will show off the relaxed shape and soft details beautifully.
