The Best Simple Sleeveless Top Sewing Patterns You'll Wear All Summer
I love sewing in summer. For me it's all about quicker makes in special fabrics that I can make up in an afternoon or over a few evenings and start mixing and matching straight away in my summer outfit rotations.
In my latest Youtube video and this blog post, I’m rounding up my top, most worn and made simple summer top patterns. I’ve focused specifically on ones that either don’t have sleeves at all, or that have a sleeveless version. All my samples don’t have sleeves but I’ll point out which ones do have that option in the pattern if you do like a bit of coverage over the arms.
If you're looking for the best sleeveless top sewing patterns for summer, these are the ones I genuinely reach for every year. I've sewn most of them multiple times in everything from linen and cotton to double gauze and viscose, so these aren't just patterns I've admired—they're patterns I wear regularly. Whether you're after a quick afternoon sewing project, an easy beginner-friendly make or a versatile pattern you'll sew again and again, hopefully you'll discover a new favourite.
