Lauren's Jenna Shirt in Pink Bauhaus Floats Viscose
A colourful oversized shirt is one of those pieces I can find endless ways to wear, and this Jenna has quickly become a wardrobe favourite!
For mine, I chose our G&G exclusive Pink Bauhaus Floats Viscose Poplin. I love the combination of the relaxed, slouchy shape with this fun print, and the fabric has just the right amount of movement while still showing off all those lovely shirtmaking details.
If you'd like to recreate my Jenna Shirt, you'll find your shopping list below. I've also included my Jenna Shirt Top Tips video, with lots of extra guidance for tackling all those classic shirtmaking techniques.
Lauren's Notes:
• Fabric choice: This viscose poplin has a beautiful soft drape with just enough body to show off the collar, cuffs and plackets, while letting the Pink Floats print really shine.
• Styling tip: I love wearing mine loose over jeans for that relaxed oversized look, this cropped version is also lovely worn open as a lightweight layer.
• Difficulty level: A really satisfying intermediate project packed with classic shirtmaking techniques. My Top Tips video is there to guide you through the trickier stages too.
Everything I used for this version of the Jenna Shirt is listed below. Choose the items you'd like, adjust the fabric quantity if needed, or add everything to your basket in one click. The fabric quantity included is suitable for making the Jenna Shirt in sizes up to XL*, based on the pattern's recommended fabric requirements. *If you're making a different size, check the pattern instructions in the gallery and adjust the quantity before adding to your basket.
