Cream Bee Happy Blooms Cotton Micro French Terry is an exclusive Guthrie & Ghani dressmaking fabric featuring colourful flowers and leafy details on a light cream ground. Please note: This fabric is on pre-sale. We expect to ship the fabric out to you before Christmas. If you would like to order other items with this fabric, please place a separate order as we're unable to hold the items until the fabric is in stock.

Created by Lauren in collaboration with surface pattern designer Rachel Parker, this cream version of Bee Happy Blooms features details which represent important elements of Lauren's life and the g&g story, such as plants with her children's names, the Lauren Peony and a cute little bumble bee. The soft cream base colour makes the print pop while maintaining a sophisticated look that works beautifully across seasons. The mixture of flower shapes and leafy sprigs gives the print a natural, garden-inspired feel. Its light background and varied colours make it easy to coordinate with plain fabrics for collars, cuffs or complementary handmade separates.

Made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane, this cotton micro french terry has a fine, dense weave with tiny, smooth micro loops on the reverse. Weighing 265gsm, it has a lovely substantial feel with stretch for comfortable everyday garments. The denser weave also provides an excellent base for printing, allowing the beautiful watercolour details and vibrant colours of the design to show through clearly. This makes it a lovely choice for printed sweatshirts, sweaters, cardigans and casual tops, bringing colour and detail to your handmade wardrobe.

Our Beige 2x2 Cotton Tubular Ribbing looks great with this fabric and is perfect for hembands, neckbands and cuffs!

Care Instructions

Wash at 30 degrees. Iron on a medium heat. Do not tumble dry.
