This Coastal Stripe Marl Knit is a 210gsm stocking stitch effect knitted fabric with a subtle marl effect and 8% wool, ideal for lightweight jumpers, cardigans and sweatshirts.
Coastal Stripe features a classic stripe pattern combined with a softly blended marl effect. The coastal-inspired colour palette gives the fabric a relaxed, casual character, while the knitted texture adds depth to the stripes. The combination of stripes and marl creates a lovely fabric for everyday knitwear, particularly simple jumper and cardigan patterns where the fabric can be the main feature.
This stocking stitch knitted fabric is made from 53% polyacrylic, 22% polyester, 15% polyamide, 8% wool and 2% elastane. The addition of wool gives the fabric a little extra warmth and character, while the blended fibres create a practical, wearable knit.
At 210gsm, it is lighter than a chunky winter knit, making it useful for lightweight jumpers, cardigans and sweatshirts. The 2% elastane provides useful stretch and comfort.
