If you’ve got fitness resolutions for 2025, need a new outfit for the gym or simply want to expand your knit sewing skills, then look no further than the Limestone Activewear Set!
The Limestone Leggings feature a wide, curved waistband which is kept nice and secure with hidden elastic. The legs have a full length side panel that shows off contrast fabric perfectly and also contains a neat curved pocket. This useful pocket gives a playful element to the design, but is also very practical as it’s just the right size for holding a phone!
Shaping is provided through the leg seams and a gusset piece is also sewn into the crotch for improved fit and movement. The legs have a generous five length variations (from shorties through to full length) as well as options for a cuffed finish.
With only two pattern pieces, the Limestone Top is a quick sew with options that you can easily customise. The pattern includes a cropped length, but in her top tips video, Lauren demonstrates how to adapt this for a longer length. She also walks you through how to add binding to the armhole and neckline - a g&g addition to the pattern that adds another contrast feature to the set.
Each kit includes two fabrics which have been selected to pair together for a professional look. Play around with your fabric choices for the waistband, cuffs and bindings for a unique finish that’s personal to you.
Each kit includes enough fabric to make full length leggings and a hip length top.

This kit is available in three colourways, with two fabrics in each: Purple Hearts, Abstract Baby Blue and Petrol Blue & Green
For this kit we’ve chosen the perfect activewear fabric. This fabric is buttery soft to the touch and really stable to work with. It has a weight of 250 g/m² meaning it provides good coverage and is fully opaque to wear. It is made of 78% polyester and 22% elastane and this high elastane content gives the fabric a substantial 90% stretch percentage, as well as the ability to easily bounce back into shape.
All of the fabrics included in this kit are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
