This Tan Cotton Bedford Corduroy is a sturdy 100% cotton fabric with a subtly ridged surface, ideal for jackets, bags and structured dressmaking.
Tan is a warm neutral that works particularly well with the understated texture of Bedford cord. The gentle lengthwise ridges add interest to the plain colour while keeping the fabric easy to style.
This 100% cotton Bedford corduroy has a substantial 355gsm weight, giving it plenty of body and durability for jackets, bags and other hard-wearing projects.
The weave has faint lengthwise ridges, which are much less pronounced than those found on traditional corduroy. One of the useful differences is that this fabric doesn't have a directional nap, so you don't need to worry about cutting all your pattern pieces in the same direction.
