This Indigo Gingham Seersucker Fabric is a beautifully textured cotton blend with a classic gingham design, subtle stretch and an airy handle that's ideal for warm weather dressmaking.
The gingham design feels fresh and wearable, and this indigo version has a lovely relaxed feel. The small-scale check combines deep indigo tones with soft white to create a versatile pattern that works beautifully for everyday garments. The puckered seersucker texture gives the fabric extra dimension and adds interest while still remaining easy to style.
Made from a blend of cotton, polyester and a touch of elastane, this seersucker has a softly rippled surface and a lightweight feel. The textured finish naturally lifts the fabric away from the skin, making it wonderfully breathable and comfortable during warmer months. The addition of elastane gives a little extra flexibility and comfort, while the polyester helps maintain the crisp puckered texture.
