This Apple Orchard Ribbed Cotton Jersey is a soft, stretchy, OEKO-TEX certified cotton rib fabric with a textured finish, perfect for T-shirts, long-sleeved tops and comfortable dressmaking.
Apple Orchard is a lovely colour choice for adding a fresh, nature-inspired design to your handmade wardrobe. The subtle texture of the fabric adds interest without the need for a printed design. It is a great option for creating comfortable everyday garments with a little extra texture.
This OEKO-TEX certified ribbed cotton jersey is made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane. The ribbed knitted construction gives the fabric a distinctive textured surface, while the elastane provides stretch and helps the fabric recover after wearing.
At 220gsm, it has a comfortable medium weight that works well for T-shirts and long-sleeved tops. The rib texture makes it particularly useful for close-fitting or gently shaped garments, depending on the requirements of your chosen pattern.
