Lauren's Anna Allen Philippa Pants in Black Sanded Cotton Twill
I made this version of the Anna Allen Philippa Pants using our Black Sanded Cotton Twill Fabric. They're such a great everyday trouser pattern with a tapered leg, and I reach for mine again and again.
If you'd like to make your own, you'll find your shopping list below. I've also included my Philippa Pants Hints & Tips video to use alongside the pattern instructions, packed with extra guidance to help you through the trickier steps.
Lauren's Notes:
• Fabric choice: This sanded cotton twill has such a lovely soft, brushed finish while still holding the shape of the trousers beautifully. It's the perfect weight for year-round wear.
• Styling tip: I wear these on repeat! They go with so much in my wardrobe, and I love styling them with an oversized shirt or a simple knit for an easy everyday outfit.
• Difficulty level: A brilliant project for more experienced dressmakers. Don't let the button fly put you off – I actually think it's easier than sewing a zip fly!
