Re-make past Sewing Society Kits!

This simple and classic pattern was originally included in a kit back in March 2020 with the fabric options of a white bamboo modal twill or a viscose print. Both of these floppy, fluid fabrics work really well with the loose fit and gathered sleeve cuffs of this pattern, but that type of fabric can be tricky to work with.

Instead, opt for a more stable cotton lawn or gauze, for the same light weight breezy feel without the slipperiness! These new Atelier Brunette fabrics are so lovely and special and the simple design of this blouse will really allow the fabric to shine. Or opt for a fun Liberty Tana Lawn print! These quirky prints always have their own story to tell with so much detail in the print.

Another summer favourite is the True Bias ogden cami! Since its release in a kit back in June 2020 the pattern is now available in sizes US 14-30 - yay! If you aren't sure about the fine straps - I've got a tutorial that shows you how to widen them and also make a cute gathered peplum!

I keep coming back to this skirt pattern as there are so many options in just one pattern! Originally featured in a kit back in July 2020 with the choice of either red or classic navy viscose linen fabric, this pattern can really be whatever you need it to be!

Button down front, wrap around or classic A-line and with different length options, you can really get some good milage out of it!

If you are looking for a nice, smart summer trouser, look no further than the Sasha pattern. This is for me the ultimate chino style pattern and it can easily be adapted by missing out the back welt pockets and front pockets for a quicker, simpler make.

This stunning dress was part of a kit back in July 2019 and featured a beautiful Liberty print of a viscose base fabric. With its butterfly sleeves, panelled skirt and flattering waist ties, it's perfect for any special occasions you may have coming up over the next few months.

For this dress I had to pick my favourite Fabric Godmother viscose sateen prints. The colours are so vibrant, the fabric is so silky and smooth and they really sew up into very special garments!
