This 3 part series of videos, totalling over 60 minutes of footage, doesn't replace the instructions that come with the pattern, instead Lauren shares her personal hints and tips that she finds useful to help you get a lovely finish on your jacket. The videos cover making an unlined version of the jacket in cotton twill, using self made bias binding to finish off the seam allowances and how to attach mental anorak snaps.
As the pattern was updated since the initial release of this video, there is also an additional video that covers what these changes are and Lauren's tips in relation to them.
In video 1 she shares her tips on planning out your project, how to sew the placket and how to make the collar.
In video 2 she shares her tips on making continuous and single length bias strips and how to then use this for binding the seam allowances for a professional finish and how to sew the side and under arm seam to get it sitting flat and neat on the inside and out.
In video 3 she shares her tips on attaching the collar, making the front placket and attaching the snaps, sewing on the pockets and the cuff.
Each video has chapters and timestamps to make it easier to navigate through each video to the section you are most interested in.
