Level 3 - Beginner Dressmaker

Make a Pepin Tote Bag

Do you already know how to use a sewing machine? Are you keen to get started on a new sewing project but struggling to find some inspiration? Then this 1 day bag making workshop may be just for you!

Our new one day workshop is the perfect class if you can already use a sewing machine, but want to learn how to follow a pattern to make a craft project.

The Noodlehead Pepin Tote Bag Sewing Pattern is a classic, well proportioned tote bag with a shaped gusset, shoulder straps and handy internal and external pockets. Customise the design and function of your new go-to bag with different pocket combinations, a zip closure, magnetic snap closure and twist lock closure.

PLEASE NOTE - If the class is showing as fully booked, please contact us on info@guthrie-ghani.co.uk and we can check availability. Sometimes we can experience a glitch in the website where the workshop appears as fully booked when it is not. We are fixing it as soon as possible.

Running Time
9.00am - 4pm

About this workshop

During the workshop the tutor will guide you through how to make a patch pocket and internal utility pockets, how to insert an (optional) zip fastening as well as show you a range of other bag fasteners. Your bag will be fully lined giving the professional finish.

Please note that you will need to cut out your fabric pieces at home BEFORE attending the workshop.

This means you can focus on the construction of the bag in your workshop. You will need to collect your Pepin Tote Bag Pattern and dot and cross pattern paper from the store, or arrange to have it posted to you. Help and support can be offered by calling a member of the team on 0121 449 8419.
