About this workshop

Over the three weeks you will make a sample curtain (measuring 50cm x 60cm) which you can then use as a reference point to make your own curtains at home. The curtain will be lined and have thermal interlining too. If you would prefer to miss out the thermal aspects of the sample curtain when making them at home you'll still learn everything you need to know.

You will also learn how to make your own roman blinds – a project from the book, 'Learn to Sew with Lauren'. You will make a small sample blind to learn all the processes and construction involved. This can then be scaled up to the required size of your windows at home.

You will then learn how to make a piped cushion, using your own handmade piping, with a centred zipper.

PLEASE NOTE you will have homework to complete each week to ensure that you are able to complete the three projects. This may involve cutting out fabrics in advance, pinning and tacking etc.
