Cost

Private tuition costs £45 per hour, with a minimum of two hours per session.


Location

Sessions will take place in the Guthrie & Ghani studio in Moseley (upstairs above the main shop).


There may be other members of G&G staff working quietly in the studio whilst your session is taking place.


Equipment

You will have full use of the studio machines/overlockers and sewing tools during your session.


You are welcome to bring your own machine(s) if they are brand new or if they have been PAT tested within the past 12 months.


Any fabric, patterns or other supplies that are required for the session must be provided by yourself and are not included in the cost of the session.


You will receive 10% off full priced fabrics in store during your visit at Guthrie & Ghani.


Punctuality

If you are late for your session, the time will not be able to be added onto your session so please allow sufficient time to travel and park. Details of parking options can be found here.



Cancellations

We try our best to price our workshops as fairly as possible and offer good value for money, therefore we must have a clear cancellation policy to ensure that we cover our costs and the fees of the tutor.

We urge you to carefully check your diary to ensure that you are available to attend any private tuition you are booking with us. If circumstances change, or something pops up and you are unable to attend, unfortunately all our workshops and classes are non-refundable.



If you need to cancel

If you need to cancel your private tuition, please let us know as soon as possible and we can rearrange the session. Please note however, that we can only rearrange once. If you need to rearrange more than once then you will lose your 50% of the cost of the tuition fee you have paid.



If we need to cancel

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your private tuition, you will be given as much notice as possible and offered a different date or a full refund. We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
