Persons under the age of 16 years of age are not permitted to attend an adult workshop unless accompanied by an adult for the full duration of the workshop.

The accompanying adult does not need to pay and take part in the workshop, although they are welcome to if they wish, but they must remain in the studio during the whole workshop.

The youngest age of the under 16 attending can be 12 years old, although we are willing to make exceptions depending on the young person and their previous level of experience.

Please be aware that adult workshops are designed for adults and will work at a teaching pace appropriate for adults. Of course due attention will be given to all workshop participants but the difficulty level specified on the workshop listing, which details the past experience required, must still strictly be adhered too.

We do offer after-school workshops specifically for children at our g&g Stitch Academy. Children aged 7 - 9 years old can join the g&g Minis, and ages 10 - 13 years can join the g&g Tweens workshop.

We can also arrange for a private workshop for children with a CRB checked qualified teacher. Prices will vary depending on the time of day and day of the week. If this is something you are interested in please get in touch via email [email protected] and we can discuss specific arrangements.
