January and February 2015

Blog / 4 March 2015

I had to admit defeat with the blog last week. It was time for a bit of a break in the hot sun for me and after my good intentions to get blog posts ready before I left, alas it didn’t happen.

I’m right back with you though and have lots of new projects to share but first I’ve got some amazing makes from you guys. You never fail to blow me away with the lovely things you create……

Amy made this lovely bird cushion cover in the Beginners Envelope Cushion Cover Workshop - awesome job for a first make!

Victoria made this very beautiful piped cushion cover in the Trimmed Cushion Cover Workshop. I LOVE how the bright pinks really pops out to frame the print on the farbic!

Clairinda and Hannah have both been busy making super cool Yoke Tops - awesome fabric choices guys! (Pattern from Learn to Sew with Lauren Book).

Joanne made a lovely Simple Sleeveless Top with great contrast binding and Claire made these brilliant adventure shorts for her boys! (Both patterns from Learn to Sew with Lauren too).

After attending the Purse Making Workshop, Dawn was straight to work and made this beautiful bunch of purses!

We had another set of super lampshades from Zoes Shade School Workshop,

Emma and Jane finished their shades off perfectly at home with these cool trims.

Lorna has been really busy and made this fab striped Tilly and the Buttons Coco Top - good call on the alternating stripe direction of the pockets, and this really pretty vintage blouse using our Orange Blossom Fabric.

I so want one of these beautiful ottomans that Alison has renovated with Emma Hardickers Spring Teal Fabric,

And please may I also have one of the Liberty Betsy Print Cushions that Carolyn has made - gorgeous!

While on the subject of Liberty prints, how awesome are these knickers made by Claire using Gallymoggers Reynard and Bellis Liberty Prints?

Caitlin made the lovely quilt for her neice using various fabrics from our collection - what a special gift!

Elizabeth is keeping cosy in her cardy using our Black and White Tile Knit Fabric,

As is Melissa who made this amazing top using our Mustard Viscose Wool Stretch fabric,

And finally we have Rachel's Sewaholic Cambie Dress made with our Navy Anchors Double gauze fabric, how pretty is the trim on the pockets?!

Thanks again for sharing everyone - I love seeing what you make!
