Christmas edition

Blog / 18 December 2015

I've been seeing some really amazing sequin outfits on Instagram and Twitter recently that it's reminded me how lovely it is to get all of your makes together in one blog post.

There is certainly going to be a lot of amazing sparkley people out there this Christmas, including......

Emily with her sequin top and velveteen skirt combo! Awesome tights too by the way!

And my Mum, Fiona, she made a lovely dress using our navy and purple sequin fabric and followed the shape of the triangles to make the V at the neckline.

At the g&g Christmas party Julie and I had matching sequins on. She made hers following a pattern from the Lutterloh Pattern Making System and I think it looks fantastic! I love design at the back!

Kerry (left) and Lizzie (right) both have beautiful cowel style necklines on their sequin tops.

@craftyclyde made a gorgeous quarter circle skirt which looks great, with a lovely amount of fullness at the bottom.

Lorna made an amazing Megan Dress (From Tilly's Love at First Stitch Book) with a lovely matching clutch bag and a bow tie for her beau! Gorgeous!

@lemon_ylime has gone all out with her present wrapping and added some sequins and the lovely little ceramic charms she made in the ceramic Christmas decoration workshop! Such a nice touch!

There have been quite a few lovely cosy looking jumpers around as well including this Grainline Linden Sweater made by Hannah (left) and a pretty Seamwork Astoria Jumper made by Jodie (right).

Anneli made this amazing Tilly and the Buttons Bettine and By Hand London Anna Hybrid - it works so well in this soft viscose fabric too!

The ever popular Bettine looks great on Jodie who has also chosen one of our soft and drapey viscose fabrics.
